I think there definitely should be, for the same reasons there is a Huracan category, it will be replacing the 12C and will become a lot more common, I'm surprised they haven't made one yet.

The 650S isn't free. McLaren is simply offering 12C owners a free "650S-inspired Technology Upgrade," which gives 12C several updates but doesn't replace the car. From Car and Driver, the Technology Upgrade "includes enhanced active aerodynamics that engages the air brake more frequently, DRS operation, improves functionality and usability of the Android-based IRIS infotainment system, and for 2013 and later 12C models with door buttons, external control for the door windows to help access in confined spaces. McLaren is also making a backup camera and satellite radio available to 12C owners as an option."

There are a couple of cars that deserve their proper category. Such as the Mclaren 650S, the Bentley Flying Spur, and you can make a case for the Mercedes G65 AMG wagon and the Campagna T-Rex, among others.
I suggest they also allow sub-categories for cars like the RR Phantom drophead coupe, Ferrari Challenge Stradale, Scuderia, 16M, Speciale. Basically for special editions of cars with existing categories.

Subcategories would be a disaster. People would wrongly put things in them all the time.

Admins probably don't give a cr*p about stuff like this.. Wouldn't be surprised.

look at it this way. This site is a dictator ship. The admins do what they want, when the want and to what extent they want. We don't have much say.
