Why does it even have like a grille place thing if they just gonna put plastic there anyway?
For the looks.
But (to me) it just looks bad anyway. If I designed the car, I would have taken advantage of the fact that it doesn't exactly need any air intake and not have a front grille at all just to be different than all the other cars.
My friend said his dads friend has a model x, and a model s. He said he got it 2 week ago and showed me a pic of both. The friend lives in my neighborhood, but I have not seen the model s, or the model x. Is it possible to have a model x already?
No one can have the Model X yet. Not even one has been delivered yet, and there is only two street legal ones currently, one for car shows and one in Fremont for testing. Still the Model X looks better in person, yet personally the rear doors are a little too long. Even if it is a raised Model S, it only goes up 2 inches and cannot exceed 8 mph in "very high" mode.

Yes. 8mph. At over 8mph it goes down to "high" then to "standard." It isn't that significant, but it helps the door clear the curb or lowering the car to clean the roof.
