The Sultan had quite a passion for Bentleys and special orders. The car I list below are mostly from the 1990s.

Bentley:
- 1989-1992 Val d'Isere: 11 built.
- 1993-1995 Sports Estate car: 14 built.
- 1993-1994 Azure: 8 built. NOTE: This is NOT the same as the Azure Bentley offered in 1995. The Sultan's Azures are based on a Continental R.
- 1993-1995 Continental R: 51 the Sultan ordered. Plus an addition 40 the Sultan purchased from 1992-1996.
- 1994 Grand Prix: 6 built.
- 1994-1995 Camelot: 2 built
- 1994-1996 B2: 17 built.
- 1994-1995 B3: 12 built.
- 1994-1995 Silverstone: 7 built.
- 1994-1996 Java: 12 total of Convertibles, Coupes, and Estates(wagons).
- 1995 Monte Carlo: 6 built.
- 1995 Imperial: 6 built; stretched Turbo R.
- 1995-1996 Spectre: 6 Estates, 3 Coupes; 9 in total.
- 1995-1996 Phoenix: 8 built.
- 1996 Dominator: 6 built.
- 1996 Rapier: 6 built.
- 1996 Buccaneer: 6 built.
- 1996 Pegasus: 9 built.

Rolls-Royces:
- 1995 Majestic: 2 built.
- 1995 Phantom V: 1 built. Uses the same engine in the Silver Spur III.
- 1995-1997 Cloudsque: 2 in 1995 and 1 in 1997; 3 in total.
- 1995-1997 Royale: 4 in 1995 and 1 in 1997; 5 in total.

Aston Martin:
- 1997 AM4: 3 built.
- 1996-1998 AM3: 3 built.
- 1991 Vantage Special Series I: at least 2 built; 1 red and 1 black.
- 1998 Vantage Special Series II: 3 built.
- 1993-1994 Lagonda: 4 buitl in both 4-door saloon and estate.
- 1993 Lagonda Vignale: 2 built; 1 blue and 1 grey. The Sultan owns the grey one.

Ferrari:
- FX: 7 built.
- Testerossa Spider: 5 built, does not include the official on for Gianni Agnelli.
- F512 TR Spider: 6 built.
- 456 GT Sedan: 2 built.
- 456 GT Venice: 7 built, but only purchased 6 of the 7.
- 456 GT SPider: 2 built.
- F50 Bolide: 1 built.
- F90: 6 built.
- Mythos: 2 built.

Just some of the crazy commissions he did. One should note he almost bankrupted Pininfarina in the 1990s for their eccessive spending.

I have seen a Vector M12 and Mclaren F1 that used to be part of his collection. Sadly most of the cars never made it out and they have been rotting away for about the last 15 years. If you haven't done so already, read this.

That was a highly depressing article. It really is a massive shame that all of those fantastically rare old exotics are just going to be destroyed due to a carelessness that can't even be properly described.

Thank you for posting that link, I've been looking for an article like this for a long time (I really wasn't trying very hard though, lol).

I read through al 55 pages on Ferrarichats forum about him last night, its sad to hear that just one of the six dauers ever made it out of his collection and that all three McLaren f1 lm are still inside, however there's a member on there who used to be a mechanic for him and it sounds like all his cars were actually driven regulary by the mechanics, he talks about driving the dauer and 288 evo, and even has photos however he's only posted a poor quality photo of the "glass room" showing: a McLaren f1 (racing livery), jag xjr-15, ferrari FX, and some you can't make out, such a shame that that guy couldn't get the mclarens out because of paperwork im sure he could of explained the reason why to the government, there not just cars there f**king McLaren f1s

Guest to ferrarichat can only read the posts. You can't view photos unless you are a member. A friend of mine sent me a link from ferrarichat a few months back to look at some photos which I couldn't.

A lot of the 5000 of so cars the Sultan owned were sold and secretly shipped to Brunei so that Sutlan wouldn't raise suspicions from the citizens.

In fact some of the cars he commissioned didn't officially exist to the world. One example is the Ferrari F90. He commissioned 6 of them in 1988 but they weren't knowledged till 18 years later.

If I was to go to Brunei on holiday, how could I actually get to see any of his collection if the cars are uncared for in a basically derelict area, or does he have a load of guards protecting a load of ruined cars?

You chances of being allowed to see in car collection is extremely slim at best. No one is allowed on his property except for the family, guards, and servants. The only time anyone one is allowed on the property is during Islamic holidays only and that is only because he has a 1,500 person mosque on his property.

If you had read the article that I linked in my first comment, you would have read that the garage is surrounded by armed guards and razor wire. Good luck with trying to go see it.
