Many people on this site, including me, like to post the unusual and rare stuff which keeps the site fresh and interesting. Seeing endless photos of red F430s gets boring fast. Many here do post every exotic they see and they have the right to do so but I am not one of those people. I don't see how posting the most interesting and rare exotics/classics I see is a "sad trend."

I try to post rare exotics or very good pictures of normal exotics (458 etc) but unfurtunately it isn't always possible.

I've never rolled my eyes so much. It gets to a point where no one wants to see that stuff anymore. Even if people don't see the amount of exotics that other people see, they sure as hell have seen hundreds of cell phone quality photos of a red Ferrari 360 before.

i take a pic of almost all of em but not with a DSLR camera at most parts. I live in the dead zone of exotics so it is very rare to see them on the road.

I honestly can't believe neither of you have ever seen a 458 in the wild. I'd never know it from your spottings! I've only seen three 458's (although there's like 7 or 8 in Raleigh and I've only seen one on the road) and 4 or 5 F430's.
I agree with Art though. I appreciate all exotics, but it saddens me when Ferrari's, Lambo's, and McLaren's are used as status symbols. If I were to ever own one, an Aston Martin would be at the top of the list, either a V12 Vantage or DBS, equipped with three pedals and one smiling driver. I wouldn't hesitate to let honest car fans sit in it, and if I wasn't in a hurry, I would probably give a few of them a run around the block in it. I think part of the problem is that Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, and McLaren's are all featured, while other exotics, namely Lotus, Aston Martin, Maserati, Bentley, and Rolls Royce, typically do not get featured (there are exceptions but I'm just generalizing). I realize that, for some of you who live in wealthier areas of the country, you see Bentley's and Maserati's on a daily basis, but for someone like me, it's still an event when I see one.

Oh I guess I didn't answer the poll. I don't shoot any of them unless it's a cool photo op, like a combo or a nice location.

Bentley Flying Spur (only in Hong Kong may I not photograph them as they can get very common and boring)

Some of them are only sometimes, so I didn't check them.
For BMW M's, I'll take photos of most M6's (in my area) and some M5's (only the newer ones for both), only if it's a good shot.
I'll probably take a picture of a Ghost, but might not post it.
I usually take pictures of GT-R's (unless they're grey, I have enough of those), but only keep good shots.
I'll keep not bad shots of R8's (only great shots of grey or black ones).
Also I might get one of a new Quattroporte but not post it here.
I probably won't get ones of F355's unless they're unique or in a weird location.
At car week, I probably won't get photos of non-Scuderia F430s or non-SL 1st gen Gallardos, and if I do, I probably won't post them here (unless it's unique or part of a combo).

I think the S7 gets appropriate attention. It's not featured for some stupid reason, but the mods usually do a good job at getting onto the featured page where people then get to salivate over it.
