Looks Amazing Howard! How is the feel on that model? Does it feel plastiky? or like a solid model?
Thanks, I mean, you can definitely feel that it's composite and feels very light on the hands however, details are still pretty well done. The depths on this model can be found here AutoArt McLaren P1 review

All you privileged-ass kids with your expensive 1:18 scale models lmao. When I was a kid, I collected Hot Wheels cars:
To put it in perspective, I had a serious problem. This isn't even 1/3rd of my collection. The rest of it is in storage where I can't access them right now. These photos were taken beginning of 2014. Haven't really gotten any new ones since because I don't feel like spending my own money on die cast cars at the moment. Maybe when I become an adult with a real job I'll start collecting again because I really loved it:
UPDATE: Found some pics on my Flickr of my diecast collection:
(The green/black Bentley with the Lambo is broken now because my stupid-ass dog stepped on it while I was playing with it one day and she broke the headlight off of it, so now it's in a Ziploc bag waiting to be fixed. It was one of my favorite cars)
I still have a lot more to take pictures of, including the really rare convention sh*t that's currently in my garage. I have two vintage Hot Wheels carry-cases from 1968-1969 signed by Larry Wood, the creator of the Volkswagen Beach Bomb considered to be the "Holy Grail" of the Hot Wheels world.
"privileged ass kids"?
When I was a kid I had hotwheels too. It's just I'm done with college, able to support myself better than before that's how i started collecting more and more expensive models.
It's not about how privileged you are it's about how much do you want to invest in your hobbies. Expensive models can become a great investment as I'm sure alot of hard core collectors will agree.
Should I go with the Autoart 1:18 6x6 or the Pur Blanc? Both are amazing models, though I'm leaning towards the 6x6, because... It's a freaking 6x6
Yeah the 6x6 would probably be a bit more unique
It would also make for some insane photos, as Howard has demonstrated
Well the Pur Blanc is diecast versus the composite that the 6x6 is made of.
However, the 6x6 is cheaper than the Pur Blanc and much more photogenic in almost any given environment

Well I mean that's you, but I'm talking about the ones who buy them with their rich daddy's money lmao.
Believe me, I want to invest in my hobbies too but I don't have the money to do so.

What are the pros/cons of a composite model vs. a diecast model? I know diecast is metal and composite is a resin type thing, but I'm not sure on what the overall difference is
