There are no good Veyrons for cheap, though. The cheapest 1/18 Veyron is still high $100s. I wouldn't spend that much on any model either. The most I spent was $180 for the CCX and that was just because I got a tax refund and really wanted my own Koenigsegg haha.
I think about $200 would be close to my maximum for a car. I really want a CCX in orange though, I love the roof and doors on the model.

I got silver because I think that's the best looking on the real car. I have mine displayed with the roof on and the passenger door open.

I used to just go for quantity, so I have tons of Maisto models I got for cheap. Now I want to go for quality, and all the good ones are expensive.

I did the same thing. I have a few shelves full of cheap ones, then a few special shelves for the nice ones. I might limit myself to like one new one a year or something like that so I can still get some without feeling bad about dropping that kind of money.

That might be a good plan. I really haven't gotten any new nicer cars in a long time, hence why I want to save up for one.

I only buy the really good ones. I don't care how much they cost as long as the quality backs up the price. I bought a 1:18 250 SWB California by CMC and it was very expensive but worth it because it is so well made.

I think the next one I'm going to get is the Kyosho F40 with the LM wing. I don't want to waste that kind money on something like an Aventador or some other modern car with no emotion. I'd rather have something special on my shelf.
I might also get a 1/43 almost exact replica of the white F1 that was in Monterey. I like the HDK and the 1/18s are mainly the regular car.

only 1/18 ones i have is a bmw z8 that i built myself, a porsche 356, and a hotwheels buzzin hornets 1999 jordan f1 car (apparently thats worth quite a bit)
