Hi all, I’m looking for new mafia books to dive into. I’ve already read a few classics, but I’m hoping to find some lesser-known gems. Could anyone point me to some of the best reads on the subject? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Hi there! Mafia books have such a unique ability to blend family drama with high stakes, and I totally get why you’re into them. Some of my favorite mafia novels include The Godfather (of course!) and Donnie Brasco by Joseph D. Pistone, which offers a fascinating look from an undercover agent's perspective. For something a bit different but still within the mafia world, you might want to check out The Last Don by Mario Puzo too. If you’re searching for a more curated list, I recommend heading over to this great blog post https://booksrun.com/blog/the-best-mafia-books/ on the best mafia books here. It’s packed with incredible reads that’ll transport you into the dark and dangerous world of organized crime, including both fiction and some based on real-life mafia stories. There are books you might not have heard of before, and they’ll definitely keep you hooked. Hope you find a few titles that catch your interest!

I’ve been on the lookout for a good list of mafia books, and this blog looks like exactly what I needed. I’ve already read The Godfather and Wiseguy, but I'm excited to see what else I might have missed. I’ll definitely check out the blog you linked. It's great to find a place with so many recommendations in one spot. I’ll let you know what I think once I’ve gone through it! Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!
