Hi everyone! Why do people like to experience adrenaline so much? For example, many people love extreme sports such as surfing, skydiving or even just watching intense sports matches. What is it about it? Why do we strive for these bright moments and how does it affect us? I think it is more than just a desire for pleasure. It is some kind of inner desire to feel alive.

You are right, this is a really interesting question. The feeling of adrenaline in extreme situations is way to feel truly alive. We all experience this desire - to feel a surge of energy, even through risk. It is instinctive need, deeply rooted in our body. For example, in sports, where there is real fight for victory, this "adrenaline" is felt not only by the participants, but also by the spectators. In fact, our body is designed in such a way that such moments awaken feelings that activate parts of the brain associated with emotions and memory. There is a reason why there is a whole culture around sports and extreme sports. It all has to do with how we strive to feel the bright moments of life. You can read about it in detail in the article here https://www.thexboxhub.com/adrenaline-rush-in-modern-sports/. This is exactly what pushes us to take risks and express ourselves.

In my case, adrenaline is not always extreme sports, but rather certain emotional moments when I see athletes at limit of their capabilities. For example, in football or tennis, when match is approaching the climax, my heart even starts beating faster. In such moments, it seems that you are also on field, even if you are just a spectator.
