Depends on your budget. Use this website for some help. It's a really good comparing website for cameras (and they have one for cars too).

I took a guess and figured you have a $1,000 budget. Ignore the Pentaxs though, they're great cameras but their Customer service and help centers dont help much and there isn't a huge amount of lenses available for them so i wouldn't recommend Pentax.
