I agree with Chloe so i'm not going to vote one way or the other.
If i was going to, it would be Nikon since i have one but you really should be trying to compare 2 specific cameras instead of the brands themselves.

I'm pretty sure there have been threads on this exact topic before. Both companies make equally good cameras. I like Canon but that is just my preference.

It's just repetitive. That's all. If there was already an exact thread on the same topic then there isn't too much of a need for another one.
