Just a question. In your opinion, is it ok to get photos of cars OUTSIDE dealerships that are there for a visit and that they have already been bought? For example. I have a photo of an Aston Martin 1-77 and 3 x LFAs at the Lexus dealership. But all these are owned and they got together at the dealership for literally 15minutes to get a photo. The reason why was because there was a white LFA that was build # 177 (so you can see why the event was made). What do you guys reckon for this situation and future?

Kind regards, Ali

I'm not really sure. Those sort of things are usually rather questionable, although my honest vote would have to be not really. You can always post it to the forum.

Any exotic car spotted near an exotic car dealership is NOT a legit spotting. Doesn't matter what the circumstance is. A true exotic spotting is one where you do not expect to see an exotic car.

That being said, we still like seeing cool photos of exotics on the street, even if it's not a legit spot. We're working on adding categories, so that you can upload photos like this and mark them as "not legit" spots. You will even be able to upload car show pictures, which will go into their own category. The heart of the site will still be legit spottings, but we want to provide a way for you guys to store ALL of your exotic car photos in one place.

For now, we don't have the proper tools to categorize everything, so please don't upload non-legit spottings unless they are extraordinary.

The non-legit spots would have their own area. They would not be featured on the homepage unless they're extraordinary as determined by moderators. So it won't matter if people upload hundreds, they won't overtake the legit spots.

But they would flood the "All" section and also give people more upload count

What if it drives by the dealer, ergo has no business with the dealer whatsoever? There are some exotic dealerships in my area in very wealthy stretches where exotics constantly roam the streets. I've been at dealers and seen exotic after exotic drive by that were not involved with the dealer at all.

I guess they aren't allowed because I posted the Aventador driving next to a dealer and it was taken down . So it might not be allowed

I spotted these outside the McLaren dealership in Toronto, Can't post them on ES so I thought i'd post them here :)

Both of the black R8's were GT's (one coupe, one spyder)

That's insane! Any more shots of the R8 GTs? The McLaren dealer in my area always has great stuff. Should we use this thread for dealership photos then?
