Great question. I drive a TON so my daily driver IS my toy (if that makes sense). My commute to/from my office is about 40 miles round trip so I might as well enjoy the time on the road, right? I don't keep cars that long though but I do love modding all of them. For a while it was an NSX (red w/white leather) which I loved until I got my doors blown off by an M3. Two days later I sold the NSX and got an M3 (Leguna Seca Blue). I modded the M3 a bunch but then opened a new business and needed a truck so I sold the M3 and bought a Honda Ridgeline (still have the truck - love it) - the business runs itself these days so I parked the truck and got the QP because I wanted a fun car that could also be used to take friends to dinner. I'm always looking for the next car - if I were to get a replacement for the QP today I'd get a Ferrari FF, matte black - yellow calipers - but it is tax season and Uncle Sam hates me so this probably isn't the year for the FF ;)
As a stop gap to getting the FF, my son thinks I should drop the QP 1.5 inches (springs rom FormulaDynamcis.com), paint it matte black, powder coat the wheels black & calipers yellow. The problem with dropping it is you almost have to bump up to 22" wheel package at the same time - it will look odd with the stock 20's because you close the gap up top but the side gap is now exaggerated. I'm already buying tires 3x per year for the 20's - I'd hate to see the cost of 22s 3x per year.
