I recently spotted an brand new Ferrari f12 in Golden Valley Minnesota. It was at a porsche dealership, but was NOT for sale and most likely owned by the owner of the dealership. I posted it thinking it would be fine, but it was taken down. i've seen other cars on the site that have been at dealerships but were owned by the owner. We don't even have a ferrari dealership in minnesota and the owner got it from a ferrari dealership in illinois, but the photos were taken down. I even checked to dealerships page and it was not on the website, so am I the only one who thinks it should still be on the site, or am I wrong?

No, it isn't. Any car at any dealership is not legal.

Lol.
If its not being sold at the dealership, than its legit. Many many many spots on this site arent legit if that is the rule, so obviously it it not the rule.

It was obviously owned by someone because the windows were rolled down, and there was a cell phone in it. There was also an SLS that i was planning on posting but i saw that it was for sale on the website. I also searched the word 'Dealership' in the es search box and 250+ photos came up. i'm sure some of those are in the same situation as me.

It's not legal. If a car is at a dealer like that then it is never legal.

ES.com really needs to clarify this once and for all. No dealer shots. PERIOD.

The admins first said that any photos associated with dealers at all weren't allowed. That meant customers, dealer cars or whatever. But people started trying to make their own reasoning as to why it should be legal but at the end of the day it isn't.
