If you follow a car out of a show, then take a pic of it outside the show, would it be legal?

Nope. I think if you find it later somewhere a few minutes from where the show was, then it can be counted as legit, but you can't follow it out of the show onto the road and call it a legit spot. Which is kind of a loose rule, because you can just follow it a few miles and then say you found it at random... it's kind of on the honor system.

No, but I've had 2 cases of this. One with a Lotus Exige and one with a Ferrari F430 Coupe. Both instances, I saw them at a car show and saw them leave. However, I later found them far away from the shows because I don't expect to see them on the way home. The Lotus found later 15 minutes away from the show, and the Ferrari I found about 30 minutes away from a show.
