It's not even worth saying all the new stuff coming in. But if it helps anyone, the F1 is staying at the Marriott with the MC12 Corsa.

Message me on Saturday if you see anything I don't see :)

How's it going guys,

This will be my 3rd year in a row driving down from the Bay Area with the wife for all the magic that is Monterey Car Week.

In the past years, she and I usually meander around Carmel and check out the staging areas for Bonhams and RM, and hang around at Mecum for a while. However, there haven't been any supercars or hypercars.

For someone on a budget, ie not going to concourse - where would you guys recommend we head on Friday and/or saturday to see some great stuff? I really want to see a P1, LaFerrari, Koeniggsegg, the white F1 or the Huayra. Understandable that these cars are going to be around concourse most likely, but I'm curious if any of you regulars know of any hot spots where these super/hypercars will be expected this year?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated! I've been seeing all the photos being posted and videos of P1s all over youtube and I've barely been able to get through my work days...

I would just hang around Pebble Beach. "The Lodge" is where you want to go on a Saturday. It is near the fields where car exhibitors unload their cars. Also there is a huge lawn with tents that show off a couple cars. Last year there was a XKRS-GT, Hyundai concept car and a Porsche one. But most importantly is that The Lodge contains the "Concept Lawn" and usually cars will be rolling in after 12.

The concept cars usually arrive at 'The Lodge' so you are likely to see the P1 GTR displayed there along with the Maserati Alferi concept.

And then check out Ocean Ave in Carmel in the late afternoon at around 5.

Also, I don't think Koenigsegg showed up this year as it was supposed to be at McCall show yesterday. Maybe it will show up randomly.

Have fun, as I am also coming down on Saturday from the Bay Area with my friends :)

Good question lol. They say it's closed to "tourists" so I don't know if that includes people trying to walk in haha. On normal days, you can go through for free on a bike so I imagine walking would get you in for free too, but I don't know about on Concours day.
