Well this is a little early but...anyone going next year (2014)? I should be going back then. It's early so that gives those not on the West Coast an opportunity to plan a trip out there. Let's make it happen!

I know that I can't go. I'm only going this year because I brought up the trip as a "college visit".

I REALLY want to go to Car Week, but I sadly can't go, it's too far

Andrew, don't make the same mistake as last year with the Quail Lodge parking lot

I can likely go, but I'm not sure if I want to. I mean of course I do, but at this point I should probably start saving money for things that are more important than car week.

That is most likely smart thinking. Plus, you can go again once you know you have enough money to go, and don't have things coming up on the horizon that the money could be needed for.

So, during the weekends... when is usually the best time to go out on the streets and spot?

Lotta cars come from NorCal and farther, possible that a few stop through there.

When you wake up, to when you go to sleep. If your eyes are open, chances are you're seeing an exotic. Saturday evening on Ocean Ave is hectic, the crowds surrounding the hypercars are huge. Last year the Agera R was parked which drew everyone, then two Huayras drove by and a frenzy ensued. That's typical.

It's smart thinking but I know I'm going to kick myself if I stay home and the cars are wild (which they always are). I just can't convince myself to not go if I have the chance. Car week was the best days of my life and I know it'll be better the next time I go, those are experiences I value more than most other things. Decisions...
