I can likely go, but I'm not sure if I want to. I mean of course I do, but at this point I should probably start saving money for things that are more important than car week.
That is most likely smart thinking. Plus, you can go again once you know you have enough money to go, and don't have things coming up on the horizon that the money could be needed for.
It's smart thinking but I know I'm going to kick myself if I stay home and the cars are wild (which they always are). I just can't convince myself to not go if I have the chance. Car week was the best days of my life and I know it'll be better the next time I go, those are experiences I value more than most other things. Decisions...
I can't speak from experience yet, but I still think it would most likely be best to get a firm hold into the ground with your financial position (meaning you have saved up for the things that are most likely more important), and then go once that has been established. While the experience may be good, it isn't like there won't be another opportunity to go.

True, but some years bring once-in-a-lifetime opportunities at car week. Last year had the Agera R, then he sold it back to Koenigsegg so it could be years until one ever comes back. Who knows what rare stuff will come that may never come again.

That is true. But it seems that there is at least one of these once-in-a-lifetime things every year. Ultimately, it is your decision to go, of course. I'm simply saying that it may not be the best from a financial standpoint (although I don't know too much about your situation).

Yeah it's definitely not "best," but the rewarding feeling after car week is something that you can't buy with that money elsewhere. I may never see a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo again, but I can always get the $1000ish that it cost for the trip back.
Ha, maybe. But car week is famous for some illegal cars hitting the road, like Ferrari Challenge cars, so even the beautiful Maserati exhaust note won't make much of a scene compared to some unlawfully loud exotics. Still should be awesome for you!

Yea it won't be that much but i'm pretty excited to go.
If I go, I probably will only be able to stay for 2 or 3 days, and not the full 5 days. Which days should I go and what should I do there?
If only for three days, go Friday Saturday Sunday. Friday is The Quail and/or Concorso Italiano, Saturday is the best for spotting, and Sunday is the Concours.
