It's even worse for me...once you experience it, you want to experience it every year. You don't know what you're missing, but I do, and that's the worst part.

Oh my god, that must suck so much. Four of my car shows got cancelled: the Fairfield County Concours d'Elegance (the parking lot was INSANE), the Hot Wheels convention I always go to, Gorham Lions Car Show (we were not staying in Maine that week), Wells Auto Museum (closed down)

Fortunately for me all the events I went to this year were first-time things so there was no real disappointment in any of them. Next year will be different because I'll have something to compare them to.

I hate how all the amazing car shows are either on the east coast or on the west coast not much going on within 500 miles of me. But I do wish everyone going to car week good luck and I hope the spotting and shows go well. Can't wait to see the pictures.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Monterey. INCREDIBLE place to spot. If you find yourself there at the right time (probably at night), you will lose track of all the exotics there.

Alright, so I am going to take off at around 8:30 and arrive probably around 12:30 or 1:00. I know you told me where I should go but you think you could organize like a schedule for me and what hotels I should visit? etc lol XD

And, is going into Pebble Beach worth it? On saturday.

And, this is at the Casa Palmero? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=afAu3F23JMw

What days did you say you'd be there again?

In general, don't make a schedule because it really is completely random. Just remember the places I told you and check off each one. You will find stuff everywhere, but the places I've told you will be the big stuff. Saturday Pebble Beach is insane. That's when you'll see the Veyrons and tons of stuff around The Lodge, and definitely Spanish Bay is at its best.

That video is before the Veyrons headed up so it's SoCal somewhere. This is Casa Palmero.

If you really do want a more organized schedule then I could probably help you, but it's probably not necessary.

I'll be their on Saturday. And will the veyrons be staying their the whole entire day or just in the morning? Well I kinda want a schedule because i'm only going to be their for one day and need to time myself to check out things that are worth seeing. Mind helping? :p

It really is hard to give you a time-by-time agenda, because like I said, plans change and cars are at different places at different times. The Veyrons should be there in the early afternoon I'd think, but I didn't go there on Saturday so I'm just basing that on pictures I saw. If you're around there then you'll probably see a bunch of other exotics so just use your judgement about when you want to leave there, because they'll probably just keep coming in. Make sure you go to Spanish Bay that afternoon too, it will be loaded. Go to Carmel (Ocean Ave and surrounding) in the evening and you'll see way too many exotics. Then that night go to the Hilton and the Hyatt and you'll see a lot of the exotics parked there for the night. I mean you can really see anything anywhere at any time. There could be an Enzo at Gooding or a Veyron on Cannery Row or a Huayra at Spanish Bay, all at the same time. You just have to figure out where the best spot is at that time.

Alright, thanks man!

Also, for anyone who is going, there is a possibility the LFA Nurburgring Edition will be their.

Hmm... Maybe we could have some sort of way to alert other spotters of cars in certain places at Car Week, like in real time. I mean, it would be easy if we could all have each other's phone numbers, but it would be really weird to give a bunch of people you've never actually met your phone number. We need like an app or something. For next year at least.

Lol, I wouldn't say a "possibility" considering the dude lives in Carmel.

My only hope is that guys will post stuff on Facebook and Flickr fast enough to give me an idea of where things are/will be/are staying. Wasn't much help last year, but at least I knew what to look for.
