Might be a bit too far out of your way but Potomac, MD, and some of the other towns around there (most notably Travilah) are ridiculously wealthy. Like almost every single house there is a mansion. There are quite a few country clubs that would probably be worth checking out too. Also, across the river in VA is Tysons, and there are a lot of plazas and expensive neighborhoods around there.
