Some do look pretty hideous, but that just depends on the budget. If you ask me, it would be too hard to own a real Porsche Speedster or a Shelby Cobra because I'd be afraid to drive them. They are too valuable. My dad used to own a Speedster replica and his friend has a Cobra replica.

Replica Cobras can bring over $100k. "Factory Five" and "SuperPerformance" cobras are sought after replicas. This particular Cobra was bought at Barrett-Jackson for $55k in 2013. It is based on a C3 Corvette chassis. The Speedster was built by "Vintage Speedster", but "Beck" and "Intermecchanica" make replica Speedsters and Spyders that can sell for nearly $100k brand new. On ebay, my dad bought this Speedster for $20k. It featured a real Porsche 356 engine, but the chassis was from a 63' bug. That car was sooooooo fun. Everyone in town loved it. Our license plate was "2 Faux" so people knew it was a fake...

I spotted this potentially real 250 California GT Spyder, however I can't determine whether this is real or a replica. Can anyone help? Additional photos if needed.

I'm assuming it's real considering it's on Autogespot, and it's been found already in Monaco twice. If it weren't real, it wouldn't be allowed on there.

Lol the first thing I did was check the plate on AG so that's exactly what I thought but then someone said it was fake, someone said its real, I have no clue haha
