im pretty sure it doesn't effect your rating, so why would anyone even want to do it. and also its probably not that satisfying if you have like 2 likes and one favorite and you look at it and realise that only one person cared enough to like it

Yeah, it's no big deal. One like/favorite to your own photo is nothing. Where it crosses the line, for me, is when someone makes a bunch of accounts and begins creating conversations with himself on all of his photos (as well as liking/favoriting multiple times). It hogs up the "latest comments" and gives an unfair promotion to that persons photos.

Sometimes I "Like" my photos, but I never favorite them. It doesn't seem to make any difference. So I say "yes."
