If a car leaves a show and then comes back a half hour later and parks in a spectator lot to go to a wine auction inside the show, is it a legit spot or not?

I'm going to have to go with a no on this one. Thank you for being honest though. :)

Whoa, quick response, didn't even get the poll up haha. Thanks for your opinion.

I deleted my response because I wasn't sure what everybody else would think. Let them decide. Don't count my opinion. :P

You did not follow the car out of the show and the car wasn't entering the show. Had the car been in any other parking lot after it left the show or the show ended, I believe we'd have an overwhelming consensus that the spot is legit. The only thing that may cause doubt is the fact that it is a spectator lot of the car show. The spot is completely random (you had absolutely no idea he would return) and spectator lots are widely regarded as legitimate spotting grounds and therefore I believe you're good.

I say yeah as long as you got the picture at a time he wasn't in the show.

This is the EXACT situation with my Countach spot. It was in the Sunday in the Park Concours at Lime Rock Park, and it left after the awards ceremony had ended. I went to go see if there were any more cars in the spectator lot, and all of the sudden, the same Countach entered Lime Rock Park, and went into the spectator lots. This is as random as finding a normal car as you had no idea it would return. I'd say yes to this one.

I would say no. It's a show car at a show. Once you do that people will start posting a bunch of stuff at shows and say it is the same thing.

But here's the thing though: it was not on the showgrounds at the time the photo was taken. If people start lying, we would ask them to show us the UNEDITED exif data from their camera, and prove the exif data was unedited.

That won't help much. My camera is many, many hours off time wise, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Then we would have to do some Google Maps research from either street view or satellite. My clock is correct ._.
