I don't really like the windows at all. The current LaCrosse is a nice looking car lets hope they don't screw it up. Buick, to me, really needs some nice looking cars because I don't see a reason for why the brand exist. They should have kept Pontiac

Buick is GM's semi-luxury brand while Pontiac was pretty much the same tier as Chevy, so I think Buick has more of a reason to exist than Pontiac (although I really miss Pontiac). Not to mention how well they're doing in China.

I understand Buicks existence in foreign markets, mainly because they don't have Cadillac. Until recently, Cadillac has always been the stem-luxurt / luxury in the GM market in America making Buick awkwardly, like you said, the semi luxury. Some Chevys can reach up and surpass a Buick in luxury standards. Chevys can reach the levels of a GMC or Cadillac. However, without Cadillac, or GMC, in other markets, Buicks make perfect sense. Cadillac is really branching off now and becoming a true luxury brand of thier own. Maybe this will allow Buick to take over where Cadillac left.
I feel like Pontiac had the potential to be a performance oriented brand. They were basically chevys on the cheap side, which I felt like really screwed them.

Yeah, it sucks that Pontiac's final lineup was almost entirely rebadges.

G3 - rebadged Aveo
G5 - rebadged Cobalt
G6
G8 - rebadged Commodore
Vibe - closely related to the Toyota Matrix
Torrent - rebadged Equinox
Montana - rebadged Uplander
Solstice - Saturn Sky was a rebadge of this
