My gosh I didn't know that situation was that bad. That's just utterly classless and a complete invasion of privacy. I mean, if you really really want shots of that thing, just keep on spotting public roads until you finally find it- I guarantee you'll see a lot of other cars too, seeing it's in L.A. If the whole thing about the photoshoot being approved by the driver is true, then I suppose it's not that bad. But if the owner didn't give permission, then wow...
I have a 675LT Spider near me that I've only seen once but I really want photos of it. It's the first 675LT Spider I've ever spotted (and the only one lol) and it's a very rare car for my spotting area. Now, the one time I did see it, I didn't stalk the owner back to his house or even his neighborhood. Didn't follow at all. I just happened to see it and thought, "Oh well, I'll get it someday." Apparently some people who spot/live in supercar hotspots can't even get that thought in their head. Just sad.
