So, you are contributing to the car communities on Facebook by commenting cleanly... only to have some random douchebag/troll hijack your topic. And soon, other people will start to do the same and escalates it up to an incident.

Example:

Admin's post on page: We need to respect every person's car hobby... except for those that endangers public safety.

Comments:

A: Also for those who uses public streets as a racetrack/drift track.
B (to A): Also for those who just jump a security barrier at a car show (despite the victim didn't actually do it), tailing people's cars at a safe distance, sneaking, stealing people's pictures, starting a drama on the community, being selfish in a car show, even attempting to drive someone else to commit suicide.
C: Agree (while upvoting B's comment)
D: Have you got permission, a***ole? (To A) (while upvoting B's comment and every other people who sided with B)
E: Stealer b*tch (to A) (while upvoting B's comment and every other people who sided with B)
F: Agree (while upvoting B's comment and every other people who sided with B)
G: Kill yourself (to A) (while upvoting B's comment and every other people who sided with B)
H: DIE!!! (to A) (while upvoting B's comment and every other people who sided with B)
I: PERMISSIONS a***ole!!! (to A) (while upvoting B's comment and every other people who sided with B)
J: Stealer (to A) (while upvoting B's comment and every other people who sided with B)
and so on.

And it will also be repeated on every other page/group. There is also no way to stop them (even by ignoring them), unless the victim took down the hijacked post. All of these were even worse than the ones experienced by rtpintomedia on Autogespot, with sometimes real criminal threats being imposed there.

So, this is car community on Facebook? No wonder it's called a Wretched Hive in the Online world. The place itself is unfortunately, a troll heaven, provocation central, filled with swear, douchebags and so on.

So, I was doing some spotting today at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta this morning. I saw around 10 exotic cars parked at the same location at once, and I asked the security nearby if I can take a picture of it, and he said that I could. So I did took some pictures of the cars that I haven't spotted before.

But later that night, things started to heat up. Somebody had accused me of sneaking into some 'private property' (which is absolutely not since it was a public hotel). Since I did asked security before and he said that I can took pictures of the cars there, it means that I got permission to do some photography in there. However, it doesn't end there, someone had written false statements on social media and proceeds to spread it further to any car photography & spotting communities he found.

And what he wrote, were roughly translated to something like this in English:

"LIKE YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS WRETCHED motherf**ker JUST DID TODAY. HE JUST RIGHTFULLY TAKE PICTURES OF CARS ON A HOTEL WITHOUT ANY KIND OF f**king PERMISSION. IF THAT a***ole TOLD YOU THAT HE INDEED TAKE PICTURES WITH PERMISSION, DON'T f**king BELIEVE IT. I KNOW FAR, FAR MORE BETTER THAN THAT a***ole DID. THAT a***ole ALWAYS TAKES PICTURES WITHOUT A f**king PERMISSION. 100%."

Then he proceeds to post the so-called 'offending' pictures that he falsely claimed as offending, before disrespectfully displaying a full picture of my face in every false posts that he made. He and his friends then proceeds to do mass reportings on the real, original un-offending post that I made.

The results were not satisfying to watch. He got so many attention at once (more than 100,000 likes and reactions spanning on several social media sites in just several hours), while the original un-offending posts were technically 'sacked'.

No wonder if many car communities were evil now...

And that is not the only time that the 'pretend-to-know-everything' guy wrongfully accuses me. Looking back further, he already had previous records of accusations directed to me:

- Accusing me of tresspassing the security rope on Intersport Drift Event to take picture of a car. He even went so far by creating a fake scenario using the original car owner's properties (name and profile picture). Using pengepul_mobil (the original car owner)'s profile picture, he make a scene where he claims to have seen me tresspassing the security gate, and even lies about having securities stopped me from trying to trespass. Then, when I asked the car owner (pengepul_mobil) about this, he claimed that he indeed NEVER said something like that to everyone! I also went to the event the next day to ask the security regarding this, and he claimed that he never said something regarding tresspassing. All that he said was 'please be careful with the gates' (as I remembered that I accidentally bumped it the day before), and nothing regarding tresspassing and stuff.
- Accusing me of taking pictures without permission on Prestige Image Motorcars. In reality, I had asked them if I can take pictures of their cars (save for the Aventador SVJ that hadn't been launched at that time), and the receptionist said yes. And I didn't even take any pictures of the Aventador SVJ at that time.
- Accusing me of stealing pictures of the Veyron and CCX from Instagram user 'thisindolife'. In reality, the quality, angle and position of the cars were different when compared. >>

- Accusing me of taking pictures of the Veyron, CCX and AMG GT S without permission. Would you think I'll post it here if I take them pictures without permission?
- Accusing me of 'taking a picture on a public event without permission'. Are you serious? You did something like that on a public event?
- Accusing me of stealing and re-uploading a former IG user's photos without permission. In reality, the former IG user was the real photo thief. He just make the posts stating angrily that I had uploaded many of his pictures without permission (which in reality was not), claims ALL of the pictures were his, and of course, faking the date of picture taken, camera quality and stuff. And he just simply accuses me by 'stealing pictures from him, then putting my own watermark and claiming his photos as mine'. Luckily, on this one, justice kicked in after I showed the admins the 'real' pictures from my phone gallery.

And lots of people believe the accusations...

I'm done on every nonsense he had done. Justice needs to be served!!

That's crazy. Is there anything that you can do about it?

Also, a piece of advice (it sounds like your doing this already):

Don't retaliate like them. Then, you will both be equal and bystanders will be able to say that you were both harassing each other.

Nah. I usually ignore them when they started doing nonsense stuff. There's no need to retaliate. However, no matter if I ignore them or retaliate, they will always repeat those offences. It can be seen that they had been severely addicted to harassing me, and they'll never stop.

I'm not going to be a racist/discriminate people here, but sadly, this is true.

Recently, there's been quite a few exotic car crashes in Indonesia posted by several car crashes' pages in Instagram. Usually, exotic car lovers will got heartbroken upon knowing any news about exotic car crashes anywhere. But, the general Indonesian community apparently take things to another new level.

Just... just see the comments on these links below. I dare you translate most of the comments to English. (YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!)

https://www.instagram.com/p/B7Y1Uo4pLs1/
https://www.instagram.com/p/B7chniPJyXB/

And that's just some of them... many of the pages that had contents regarding exotic car crashes in Indonesia also had something like these too.

No wonder if some of my friends from the US and UK said that Indonesian car communities is one of the worst they ever saw... I was greatly offended by those kind of toxic social media people.

Today:

Even I was surprised that my own WhatsApp group was (unfortunately) starting to look like cancer.

I've told the other members of the group not to use a sticker with my face on it due to serious privacy issues. Guess what they did. They posted a sticker of my exact face on the group without my permission. And even they were dare enough to take pictures right from my gallery (by hacking!) to be used as a sticker, again without my permission.

I would actually consider it as fine for them to use my face as a sticker if no one was stalking the group and started to snatch any available informations once I got summoned by any means. These kind of 'stalkers' were the real threat, which then they will abuse all those informations to harass, attack or commit bullying. (Which happened to be the reason why I disallow sharing of my face by any means on the group)

Ironically, my group had one of these as its rules: maintain people's privacy.

And also, sadly, people on LINE.

Car communities members there could got easily triggered once someone pulls the trigger. I once tried to participate in the group and it turned into a fight after someone pulls a fight trigger. Basically, the trigger starts a fight with me by attacking me without any means. Then others follow suit.

And then you got instantly hated by EVERYONE on LINE just because of that one trigger. Also, offensive words, harassments, insults, provocations, etc. were not uncommon.

Things were apparently going well these days until today.

So, I was talking to my close friend on Instagram and he told me... this.

Several days ago, several unknown group from all sorts of social media basically just went straight to attack my properties non-stop like some panicked nun, and tried to resort to physical violence. They even said that they will dare to come to my house to harass and beat me up. Also, just yesterday, even someone in their group talked about a murder plan. It means that they are trying to take someone's life as an act of revenge.

And they did things like that not only on the spotting community, they also did it on every community with me in it, even things like gaming communities got impacted. I nearly lose my position as a server admin and tester because of them.

Forget harassments, bullying, insults, offensive acts, etc. This had been taken too far, and it can no longer been ignored. Attempting murder or doing any sort of crimes just for revenge is never a right thing to do, this needs to stop.

This is what a hacker did to my profile on TDU Platinum back then. Apparently, the culprit was my former friend, he asked someone to vandalize my profile, destroy my savegame and DDOS-ed my server. This is what he did after I told him kindly not to promote hacked properties. Always be glad that I had kept a backup of my entire profile and he was quickly caught, although the DDOS-ed server needs a computer expert to get it running again.

Although this one attack isn't really on the spotting section, it is connected due to the origins of the attack. Car spotting community haters start it, then people in other communities follow suit.

Simply car spotting community haters taking things too far.

Can you not call the cops for suspected murder at this point??

I've reported them to the internet police btw.

Most of them had been banned from using any internet luckily (their internet connection was permanently blocked), but there are still many of them out there.
