Save copy
Delete originals
In Lightroom:
Ctrl A to select all
Contrast 10%
Vibrance 10%
Clarity 25%
Export
Delete "new" originals
Now you are left with the pics exported from LR which will never look bad!
Sometimes you may want to increase it to Contrast 25%, Vibrance 25%, and Clarity 50% for a more dramatic effect. Clarity 100% sometimes looks cool on a silver or light colored car!

I delete them since otherwise I'll have too many pictures to keep track off, just my opinion. My favorites though I keep backups of the originals.
For the Aventador pic, I did all the same steps in Picasa, but then in LR, I did Contrast 25%, Clarity 100 %, Saturation 100%, Vibrance 0%, Noise Reduction 50%, and Color Noise Reduction 50%. Took me awhile to mess around and get it right. The actualy color of the car is light blue, but looks silver cause of the 0% Vibrance.
