Actually, for me, since it's already been ingrained in my brain that i do need that much to have fun, i do. There is no going back once a goal has been set for me because that very change alone would be what i would consider failure. A failure to hit my goal.
It hasn't been ingrained in your brain. You think it has. If I'm to be honest, I've been raised in a good situation, but I don't feel like I'm married to money and require it to be happy. Anyone can easily enjoy themselves without money, especially without the amount that you're talking about. Besides, if you've never had that sort of money (merely an assumption based upon what I've seen), how can you say you need that much to have fun? Have you not had any fun in your life so far? Because if you have had any fun then you don't need the money to have fun.
I know that one's in there but that is the one line i disagree with quite a bit. I don't think you have to choose just one, there are lots of people earning massive amounts of money that still do follow Christ and do it well. And even the poorest of people with no money at all do have to live a life chasing money just to get that 50 cents to buy their next meal. If god's ever-forgiving, i don't think all of the world would be discriminated against just because they are on a never ending journey to earn more money for sustainance. Deep down, everyone does love money whether they like to admit it or not.
And with your second paragraph, as i was telling Justin, that is EXACTLY how it goes, i won't disagree with that, because that is the part i like the most. I like setting the next checkpoint to go after because it's not strictly the money i'm aiming for, it's the achieving the checkpoint that's the most fun for me. We ended up on a topic of failure somehow (no clue how) but it's the success that makes me like to keep going forward.
There is one major difference between you and other people who earn massive amounts of money. You have a love for money, they don't necessarily have a love for money. A local man in town was a billionaire and a good Christian and donated hundreds of millions to different things around the city.
Also, everyone does not "love money" deep down. I do like money, it can make one's life easier sometimes, however I don't see it as necessary to be a millionaire.
Also, there is a difference between chasing money and loving it. One can chase after money to survive, however that does not mean that they have a love for it. I am sure there are many who curse the very thing because of their situation, and it often leads to a jealousy towards those who do have it.

There's only four things that make me happy anymore and those things are;
Spotting
Cars
Making money
Spending money
Only one of those doesn't require money and that's spotting.
It has been set in my brain. Maybe not yours, but definitely has in mine.

Again, what makes you think i won't donate a lot of money? Because i will, but i do love money at the same time.
And there you said it, you like money. Maybe you don't find it necessary to be a millionaire but you like money. I'm trying to say the same thing about myself, i just have a much higher goal for my income to someday hit for me to be truly content with my life (50 billion and i'll be good).
A jealousy requires a love to take place. You aren't jealous of someone because they have something they don't like. That would be like me being jealous of my neighbor with a Prius. Even with me not having a car to use to take myself places with, i'm still not jealous of his Prius because i hate those ugly cars.
Sam, just shut the f*ck up at this point. You reasoning is ridiculous. Justin is just egging you on.
