Sam, how do I use the polarizer, just turn it aorund until the picture looks good?

Also, are there any differences when it comes to shooting in live view mode vs using the viewfinder? Like quality or perspective?

Oh I wouldn't have expected that. Thanks for that tip.

Are you going to Damascus tomorrow night?

I want to but i have to work tomorrow. I'm in a contest within my office for our team to sell $65,000 worth of Cutco by next Thursday when we're going to Pittsburgh.

THE BURGH! Go to Cars and Coffee down there if you get the chance, great cars and great people.

When's that?

I wish there was one of those around here.

Yeah, you can just turn the polarizer until you like what it looks like. It's supossed to be 90 degrees in comparison to the sun but then you have to deal with searching for the sun (and accidentaly looking at it) so i just play it by eye normally. Or point it at a cloud and turn it until there's the best contrast between the white in the cloud and the blue in the sky.

And with the viewfinder/live view question, no, there's no difference between those other than personal preference. I like the viewfinder the most because there's less reflections (to you, not the photo) but the live view shows exactly what the photo will look like, the viewfinder only shows 95% of the frame.

There is. At The Little Speed Shop tomorrow morning. Mostly Porsches, BMWs, and nice Euro stuff. There was also a Noble M400 and a GT-R. It was a good turn out for their first event. Tomorrow's will be a lot better

Before i ever saw that car (or a photo of it), it showed up in one of my random dreams in perfect detail with those rims on it. It was really weird. I still haven't seen it in person though yet. Maybe a future deja-vu though, or an astral projection unbenounced to me at the time. But there was that car, a green Gallardo, and a white BMW parked at a restaurant in what appeared to be an image of Penfield in my dream like 10 months ago. And i still remember it in perfect detail too. And i still havent seen it in person yet btw.

Lol. Same here. If i go though i'll be wearing a blue button-up shirt, a pair of beige slacks, and a tie that looks like it has an abstract watercolor painting of the American flag on it.
