Sam, I thought you meant you were leaving tomorrow. C&C is only once a month so hopefully you'll make it.

About the reflections, on all my photos I turned the polarizer until the windshields were clear, not white and hazy. It caused the paint on cars to look worse. Here's an example of polarizing different areas, each one has it's bad spots. If only you could combine them or something.

Nope, leaving next Thursday. Wait, so is the C&C this Saturday or next Saturday?

And that's what the polarizer does, it takes away the reflections on either the side or the front of the car and then you pick the best. Or you can use a tripod, take a picture at both angles, and combine them in PS afterwards if you want it perfect. But i think that first photo looks perfect.

C&C is tomorrow.

And on the first photo, the back window and paint is over exposed, but the second, the windshield is overexposed. I guess I'll just have to live with it. Still better than without the filter at all!

Another thing, how do you know if it is turned 90 degrees or not?

There's a line on there (well, there should be, i don't really know your polarizer) but you got the turning right on the Corvette so just keep going with that method. And yeah, i don't think there's any way to remove all the reflections other than PS.

And some of those are turning out kinda dark.

What mode are you using and what's your White Balance?

Also, are you in Direct Sunlight mode?

I haven't seen that one yet but lol at the guy with his head in the engine bay.

And that is a great angle on the car (and quality) but to let you know, your polarizer was actually 360 (or 180, they have the same effect) degrees to the sun there. That's when it increases the reflections. You want it at 90 degrees so it gets rid of them.

I spotted it but it got taken down.

Why'd it get taken down?

Because it eventually showed up to the show. It didn't go directly to the show. Ask Josh, he followed it in.

Oh, i think they should be allowed in a situation like that as long as it wasn't directly leaving or entering the show.

I tried to explain it but noooo.

I think sometimes the mods also don't look at the photo before deleting it and that's what made me stop posting for a long time.

For example, when i posted this, the mods deleted it the first time because they didn't see the E-Type and it dropped my Quality Score because of it (although it raised it again when it got a lot of likes). http://www.exoticspotter.com/jaguar-e-type-sodus-point-new-york-129061

And further proof of that is how this week's Editors Choice called that P4/5 a Laferrari although they obviously would've seen what the car is if they at least viewed it themselves.

I like the Maserati one the most. The house behind it suits it perfectly.

And the one of the 458 logo is cool too.
