Any weird reactions to people seeing you spotting?

got started on by someone of taking shots of an R8 that wasn't even theirs, just walked past and kicked off, was pretty funny tbh

When I spotted that black Murciealago I was actually eating at an outdoor restaurant. I immediately sprang up and said to my mom ''be right back.'' I sprinted down the sidewalk to where some people were taking pictures too. Got pretty crazy looks.

This is not technically a "spotting" story---but it is---kind of.

My dad My cousin and I were at the library- when we came out, we found a man walking around and peering in the windows of my dad's Genesis. My dad said,
"How can I help you?"
The man was like, "you have a REAL nice car here" (Weird considering my dad had a 2011 BASE Genesis.)
The man: "How much does one of these babies cost?"
My dad, "Well any where from $30,000 to $45,000.
The man, " WOW! Real nice talking to you!"

We left and drove to a drug store, while we were walking around, the man appeared RIGHT BEHIND US!!!!

Now, we were seriously weirded out :D

Then we left :)

Same thing happened to my dads panamera, he always sits close to the window so he can watch it and we were eating and when the guy came in my dad was like "Thats nice car right?' guy goes yeah and my dad goes well now i have to go clean off your breath marks, thank you very much

HAHAHA all cool stories..

Was at an exotic car wash in Raleigh and a Bentley driver saw my dad's XKR and freaked out, took a bunch of pictures and got all excited. Then I saw what he was driving and tried to take a picture, he told me not to and got kind've mad, my dad and I just stood there baffled.

So many weird stories.
One guy even got out of his car at a stop light at took a picture of it.
I've been getting stuff out of the front once and a guy ran up to me and asked me if its a fisker, I was kinda pissed.
Also there is a guy with a performante was pulling into the shopping center when we were pulling out, funny enough his jaw dropped when he saw it (?) but I was equally if not greater shocked.
Last story, I was talking to a guy at Motor 4 Toys with a Ford GT, and he asked what did I bring, and I said Tesla Model S, and he said something like,"No Way! That is awesome!!!" and locked up his car and walked to look at it. Hope he'll get one soon.

So weird that guys in 300K+ cars find it incredible, but its a daily driver, not like the GT or performante. (one drives a prius, the other drives and S63)

Almost broke my girlfriend's car door after jumping out the car for a Bentley Brooklands. Or puked after the replica F355 as I was very drunk :)

What car was he driving?

Another one I spotted a Carrera GT outside KFC, ran outside and dropped all my food on the ground. Took some pictures. Shame I probably wasted about £3 worth of food.
