Description I spotted this vintage beauty on Caribou ST and it looks like a brand new car. I know this is not a E-type but they are actually close relatives. Also, is this a XK120, 140 or 150?
@imola_be Thanks a lot for the kind comment and perfect explanation, you are such a knowledgeable person. Btw, English is not my first language either.
I'll try to explain the difference between an Xk120, 140 and 150 ,wich is a little bit difficult to me in English, The bodywork of an Xk120 and 140 is the same the difference between them is easiest to spot in the bumpers. The bodywork of an Xk150 looks the same but is very different, and now it gets difficult to me, The body can be separated in two parts, the wide lower part and the narrow upper part, there where the wide part goes to the narrow part, on your picture accentuated by the white line from the licht that falls on the body work, on an Xk 150 this line stays high with the doorhandels in the wide part of the bodywork. at the Xk120 and 140 this line goes from in front of the front wheels over the front wheel (fender) and than down to the rear of the doors and jumps again up just in front of the rear wheel and goes over the rear wheel (rearfender) and so the doorhandels become in the narrow part of the bodywork. that's the clearest/easiest way to spot the difference between the Xk120/140 and the Xk150, I hope I have made myself a bit clear with my explanation.
