It's a jag. You know what they say. Better buy two lol. My uncle has a 2006 jag xj super v8 portfolio edition in BRG and I loooove that car, BUT he's had a ton of problems with it and now it's time to get a new car so he was at the audi dealer this weekend to get a Q7 and trade the jag in. He has 86k miles on the car and they offered him $14k trade on value. He still owes $21k. So he has a jag, out of warranty, hes probably put $20K plus in repairs in the past three years since the warranty expired, he's been making payments on it for six years, and he's $7k in the hole on it still. It's a fabulous looking car(like most jags excluding x type and s type) its fast, it's luxurious, but buying it was a terrible idea. He was soooo pissed at my family home for dinner Sunday, it's so weird how you can love a car for years and then go to get a new one and all of a sudden realize it was a terrible car. This happened to me on my E46 M3. I fcking loved that car but it was in the shop six times a year and it was alwaysssss at the very minimum $1k to get it fixed. I took a huge loss selling it because it had so many problems I didn't fix due to it being soo expensive, the sun roof was broken ($2,500) all the weather stripping was rotted($1,500) the roof lining in the back seat had caved in due to heat($1,000). It was just ridiculous trying to trade it in!!!! It was like I drove the damn thing every day for three years and I LOVED it, but the day I went to get a quote on it to trade in for my 535i( which has been a fantastic car) I realized damn, I never should have bought this. And my uncle was wayyy worse off than I was, at the time my car was paid off since my dad had helped me with the payments so we split a 1k a month note, but he never paid his off(messy divorce and such). Cars are crazy, if you love em, and you want a nice one, it's really a crap shoot, you might get a great one like my 5er that has rarely had any problems, or you might get a lemon like my m3 and my uncles xj that you'll end up putting more money than sense into just so you can have fun driving it! And as weird as it is I kinda love them for it. They are like women, they seem amazing at the beginning, but sometimes they turn out crazy and after a couple years whether or not they are, there comes a time to trade it in for a new model. Lol, whoever thought of that first must've had a great laugh. #love#
