It's not a D-Type, it's not a C-Type, it's not an Eagle speedster. So that means what you spotted is either some private racing E-Type similar to this; http://www.flickr.com/photos/benjiauto/5039623814/ or it's a replica of one. Being around Concours time it's most likely an authentic that just hasn't been professionally photographed and posted on google before.

The D-Type looks similar but has a few extra vents in the front or an extra light for the racing edition.
