The owner of the one I know about lives in Cary, which is a massive suburb of Raleigh. I don't think he drives it much because I've never seen it or any of his previous cars, and he gets a new Ferrari like almost every year (he had a 488 GTB but traded it in on his current Spider, and before that he had an F12).
Haha damn, I don't know if I'm more impressed with the Ferrari or that he's never spotted anything else in NC. I have not been to Highlands (yet), but it is considered to be a pretty nice area. It's a pretty small town (only about 1,000 people live there permanently), but there are a lot of country clubs between Highlands and Cashiers, so I'm sure there are a good number of nice cars around there. Any chance you can post it on here? I have not seen a 488 Spider in person yet, although I do know of a red one in the Raleigh area.
@Mazdafreak I don't know if you would know this but how is spotting in Higlands, NC in the mountains? One of my family members sent me a brand new 488 Spider from there and says it is the only car he has ever spotted in NC, even though he lives in Raleigh and travels to and from Winston-Salem all of the time :/
Thanks Mitch! Raleigh's car scene is a bit confusing (there are quite a few hypercars in the Raleigh area, but not a lot of typical exotics like 458s, Huracans, and etc) so it definitely surprised me to see this in downtown. The owner used to have a Final Edition Gallardo Spyder, but sold it to get this. He actually drives this pretty regularly.
