Alright. Well thanks for sheading some light on this for the community. Also didn't notice it was you eplusplus, not gregg. haha very sorry, I fixed it. I was tired and guys both have the same profile pictures and I got mixed up. lol
Thinking of posting a pic of a super nice prius with a kick asssss description under other editing it really nice and seeing how long it stays featured LOL seriously agree that needing to describe the location is nessecary... some spots i.e hazelton, bal harbour, etc. attract exotics and have become a norm to which the es fan base can easily identify them
Thanks for the heads up eplusplus. I'm glad to see what the best thing is for the posting now. If the photos are actually really good of a non exotic car, like the edits are outstanding, will that mean that the photo may be featured too?
We are not enforcing any strict rules when featuring spots. We are about common sense here. High quality is a plus. Nice surroundings is a plus. Car's rarity is a plus. Good informative description is a plus. If we are sure that spot is a street spot - it's a plus. If we are not sure - it's a minus. Smth. like that. We can easily feature some not-really-that-exotic car just because the spot itself is exceptional.
So eplusplus, you're basically enforcing the "• FULL DESCRIPTIONS will ensure your pictures get on the site and stay on the site." rule on the upload page?
Wow! Thanks for the heads up eplusplus. I will take them comments into consideration next time I upload. I will explain the spot more as you explained.
Jackson, go to the "Most Viewed This Week" tab, and I think it shows there.
because like half of his spots r at this exact spot(the hazelton) so we have gotten used to it and know its at the hazelton
also how do u know views, we have been wanting to see that before, and it would be a good addition
Background and surroundings? Nonsense. Good background and surroundings make spot better, no doubt, but this is not the only criterion. There are lots of criteria. After all, there are no strict rules on what we feature. About this particular case my guess is: it does NOT look like a 100% true spot because we see a kind of closed area packed with rare cars. It MIGHT be a 100% true spot BUT uploader didn't bother to comment more on where this was taken exactly, what was the circumstances etc.And anyway, I will tell you a secret, guys: this spot got more views than a number of featured spots on site's main page.
The featuring process has been weird lately....... stuff that normally ISNT featured ARE being featured, and stuff that IS features drops off the front page. Admins are on crack
