Description I spotted this greand daddy of supercars, the Countach parked outside Barnes and Noble. I talked with the owner and he related that this was the European LP5000S that had Weber Carbs.
I wonder how many males on this planet identify this very car as the one car that made them into a exotic car fan. The sound and the looks will last forever.
Thanks guys, it was great to read all the comments!
Incredible spot and shot! I agree with gcramair, this is the car that started my love of exotics as well. Seats as hard as church pews, a pain in the a** gate shifter to work, and almost impossible to back up due to next to no vision out the back...but man would I love to drive this car!!! Congrats on this find!!
West you never cease to impress me. This is definitely an odd looking car but you made it look awesome. Incredible shot and congrats on next weeks Editor's Choice.
OMFG this is perfection! I don't normally go nuts over a spot, no matter how nice, but this... this is something special. This is the exact car that made me a car nut at a very young age.
There are plenty of awesome Countach spots on ES, but this one, at this angle, just brings back a flood of memories from my childhood. I'd erase my whole file of favorites just for this one if I had to.
