Description One of my best spottings ever! Pre-Murcielago-era Lamborghinis are insanely hard to spot in NC, but my brother spotted this as we passed a The Beer Growler on South Blvd in South End. So glad he saw it and screamed out "COUNTACH!!!!!!!!" as we passed, because I would have missed it otherwise! This particular model is a 5000 Quattrovalve.
Well I take that back. I did technically see eight Lambos within about 45 minutes, but they were all headed in the opposite direction on the interstate and were all part of the goldRush rally. So I'm not sure if that really counts.
Charlotte's a bit like that. Not uncommon to see somewhere between one and ten Aston Martins, Bentleys, and Maseratis each day, but Lamborghinis and McLarens are pretty hard to spot. Ferraris are somewhere in between, so I'll see maybe one or two each trip.
Yep, I live in NZ haha, no where near BH! I just go to Auckland on the right days. Just like two weeks ago. Went on the right day, and saw a 675LT, an SV Roadster and a Gallardo 50° Anniversario. That was just the noteworthy stuff. Then of course there's the Bentleys, Maseratis and countless Porsches. I also missed a first edition Gallardo on the highway that day. I guess it's just going on the right days, at the right time.
Me?? Two in one day once isn't so bad, but Luke is I must admit rubbing it in pretty hard, 4 in one day? Just because you live in Beverly Hills and see amazing cars right and left doesn't make you a better spotter. Oh wait... Doesn't Luke live on an island in the South Pacific?? I've gotten like 8 in one day Ferraris but Lambos are a whole nother story..
I think I've only once spotted two in one day, and it was the photo I uploaded here of two Murcielagos. I stopped to get photos of one, and lo and behold, here comes another, entirely unrelated. Yeah, that blew my mind.
Haha Nick. It was pure luck. I was super surprised too. I couldn't believe it when it happened! At first, I thought the second one was the same as the first one I saw, but luckily it wasn't!
Thanks guys! Countaches are hard to spot now because a - they're wildly impractical and unreliable, and b - they're worth quite a bit. I don't know how you managed to find two in nine minutes Luke, but that's something that probably won't be matched by anyone else on here lol.
Oooo, that's nice! Especially without palm trees in the background, lol, I much prefer great spots in more normal locales. Haven't spotted one yet myself here in Cleveland...
