Definitely not a replica, and while the kitcar in your link looks pretty good for a replica, it still has some variances in the details, some subtle and some obvious, that give it away as a fake.
About the only thing a bit "different" about this early Diablo is that the mirrors are body-colored (early models were all a grayish "carbon fiber" color) and the mirror bases have clearly been painted black (deep and glossy) over the original "raw" look from the factory (lighter and a bit dull in color).
Still a beautiful beast after all these years. I believe the Diablo will age far better than many exotics of the era, because as wild of a design as it was when new, it's actually quite restrained by today's standards. 25-30 years from now, this will still be regarded as a very attractive car.
Also, you sure this is a VT? Judging by the larger, two-tier gauge pod ('91-'92), I think this is an early 2WD model.
Anyways, awesome spot and shot of my favorite car! L/F!
