Lamborghini Gallardo spotted in Charlotte, North Carolina

Details on This Lamborghini Gallardo:

  • Location
    Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Description
Spotted this insane looking 2014 Gallardo driving around in Phillips Place. I was extremely lucky to see this in the wild, as it had been at a car show I had attended a few hours earlier. I had no idea this would be driving around in the South Park area, and he was only here for about five minutes, but attracted a TON of attention. Also, I have decided to stop using "Mazdafreak" in my pictures and instead go by my real name, but don't worry, it's still me!

Thanks, I'll post it at some point. Probably for #700 whenever I get there as I already have something for #600 lol.

Thanks man! Yeah this was still in possession of Lamborghini Carolinas when I saw it, but when I checked their site a couple months back they had removed the wrap. It has since sold, and I'm not sure where this is now.

Great shot and find Nick, L/F for sure! I love that wrap, didn't you mention that he took it off? Today I also had my best spot ever. :D

I just found out there were only 15 of these in the entire US. This is by far my best spotting ever!

I saw it, as Parker said, at Motori Italiani, in April. I later spotted this driving around the Phillips Place Plaza after it had left the show.

It's between the 12C and the P1. Have you noticed it also looks sort of between the two?

It's a more powerful replacement for the 12C. They've stopped 12C production because 650S orders have been very popular.

It slots in between the 12C and the P1. It's not as quick as the P1 but it's faster than the 12C.

How does a 650S handle? Is it like the P1 or is it slower, like (performance-wise) between the P1 and the 12C?

Yep. It takes a long time to build a P1, and I imagine he wasn't the first one on the waiting list.

So he gets his P1 (which is older) after his 650S (which just came out)

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the "coolest Gallardo on the site" comment!

Also, I have found out that the P1 won't be delivered till late this year (possibly November or December) or very early next year. The owner will be getting a 650S Spider in a couple weeks to help tide him over till he gets the P1 though!

I've always ought about an air combustion pressure chamber that is attached to the wheels and when you start the air releases and spins the wheels causing better acceleration if that already doesn't exist haha
