The fisker came first. And the model s is fast. 0-60 in 4.4 seconds. And its the only fully electric car whose range is actually useful. Take the Nissan Leaf, its max range is 100 miles with a 16 hour charge. The Tesla does 265 miles after a ten hour charge. And the equipment on board is just so advanced there is nothing like it. And it looks beautiful
I've always been curious of that aswell. I wouldn't know how common they are and their price isn't much ( probably the cheapest exotic bought new) and as you said it is also not as powerful as most. To me those are the main aspects of exotic ness in cars and it doesn't perform well
Exotic scale for model S:
Price: 3/10
Commonness: 5/10 ( I can't be sure)
Power : 3/10
Total: 11/30
Exotic scale for Veyron
Price: 9/10
Commonness: 8/10
Power: 9/10
Total: 26/30
I suppose someone could say the same about, say, an AM cygnet. However, that is much rarer IMO.
Hey everyone. Just curious why the Tesla Model S is considered a spot. Like, it's an awesome, great looking car and I love it. It's just not really expensive, fast, or rare. It's pretty powerful, but the top speed for the performance version is only 130 mph, which is less than, say, a Subaru WRX STi. The pricing is from about $52K to $87K, about the same as a BMW 5 series. And, at least in my area, they're pretty common. I love the Model S and am very interested in it, but I just don't see how it can be considered a spot. Any thoughts?
