I love this photo. Several things about this shot knock me out. This is a dingy, downtown scene where this car's presence creates contrast, drama. Everything about the place is ordinary: shaggy palms, bicycles, meters, pawn shop, no lights on in store, trash can, stoop sittin'. The light is overcast, see pavement. It's essentially a B & W photo with few color accents. Thankfully, the car is white, too. The best thing for me is that the soft shadow of the car is protected by the car, surrounded by a halo of dry pavement, surrounded by wet, shiny pavement. You could not art direct this presentation. Photo is all about the drizzle on the Lizzle. Terrific find, wonderful photo.
