Yeah :) Both the D3200 and the D3300 has a 24.2 MP Camera, but the D3300 is a better video camera. May I ask, when you upload photos, do you have to compress the file and make it smaller or not? Just wondering if I have to with my camera. My photos are currently being taken at 6000 x 4000 (24.2mp), and was wondering if this is too large to upload to the site.
Sam, I have newly acquired a Nikon D3300 with the 18-55mm VR II lens kit. Can't wait to use it to go spotting :) Will be using it in 2 weeks at a car show I'm going to :)
Okay sweet. I will be checking out a lot of cameras. Looks like we don't actually have the Nikon D3200 in New Zealand, only in Aussie shops, and I would like a decent camera before a car show I'm going to in 2 weeks. I will be looking for a decent camera before then, and I will check out a lot of different cameras.
Honestly have a look at the nikon d3200 alot cheap and mad to use when u get the hang of it good for begginers and when ur good if has heaps of higher options for more experience photographers
Ahh yeah I see! Yeah, the camera by itself over here is $900. So it's a bit pricey, but it is incredible. I'm looking to spend no more than $1200 total on a camera, so I'll have some money left over for a camera bag, charger etc etc. I'd probably go with the Sony out of your choices, but there are probably features on other cameras that are better that you don't know about. It's always a hard choice to make haha. This Nikon Coolpix P900 will be my first ever camera, and I'm hoping I can put its 83x zoom to the test with Moon photos :) haha
Wow, that's a nice camera. Just out of my budget! Looking to spend no more than $500.00 (excluding taxes). Yeah, I am leaning toward the Sony, but the Canon just seems like such a deal compared to the Sony. Then again, I don't know a whole bunch about cameras, so I may be overlooking some features to which I should be paying attention. But, the optical zoom is better on the Sony, and, just using common sense and judgment, it just seems like the better camera. But once again, I would rather not use up all $500 of my budget.
I'm not actually using a camera currently, I'm using my iPhone and iPod haha. I'm looking at purchasing the Nikon Coolpix P900. The one that has 83x optical zoom and has a photo mode called "Moon Mode" which allows you to take pictures of the moon! But I'm a car spotter, not a moon spotter, so I will use the camera for mainly exotic car photography haha.
That Sony camera looks nice btw. I'd probably go with that if I could choose between the two.
Stunning shot Sam. My photos will be in a much higher quality soon as I'm in the process of purchasing a rather expensive camera (it's expensive for me as I'm only in a part time job) :) Hopefully I'll have much clearer photos!!
