Lamborghini LM002 spotted in Canoga Park, California

Details on This Lamborghini LM002:

  • Location
    Canoga Park, California
  • Description
My first time ever getting pictures of the "Rambo Lambo" on the streets. The owner made a right turn and accelerated hard which sounded great especially with the Countach-derived engine. I don't know how many were finished in silver but probably a handful out of the 301 produced. Also, it's been a long time since a photo of one has been posted so this was exciting to spot. The reactions from the public were expected since a lot of people never knew Lamborghini built an SUV.

It poses the question: would you pay a $150,000 premium for a urus with an aventador v12?

@WorcesterSpotter Except the 2002 is a legendary little car and this is an ugly box/brute.

I honestly never knew this existed. Honestly just looks like the BMW Turbo 2002 but worse.

Always hated these cars. Worst looking lamborghinis/SUV's ever.

But they are super rare so it's nice to see em posted.

Great spot!

The bodywork and interior of the LM002 was made in a coach bus factory in Omaiztegui, a little town in the north of Spain. The company who built them was Irizar.

Yeah, and the US military blew one up for a demonstration, so there are 300 or likely less worldwide now

Always loved the LM002. There's one hiding in NZ somewhere, still yet to see it. Sweet spot and shot.
