Okay guys, this is the CHEAPEST "real" Lamborghini SUV I could find, I'm sure if you look for years, or know a guy or something, we could get one for just over a hundred grand. But, to grab one of any real high profile dealer, here's what your looking at: https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/lamborghini/lm-002/1990/477599
Pretty sure that platform is only used for the big-boys (Q7/8, Bentayga, Cayenne) but of course what you said is right, although Lamborghini would argue that they designed and engineered the car so its far superior and better performing than its cousins.
Personally I wouldn't dream of taking one of these things off-road lol
Dude, the Urus rides on VW's MLBevo platform, which underpins the A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, Q8, Bentayga, Cayenne, and Touareg. It is powered by a modified version of the same 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 that is found in the A8, Cayenne, Continental, Panamera, and various Audi RS models, as well as some other VW auto group vehicles. The amount of "luxury" is irrelevant, this is just a cheap way to cash in on the cache that the Lamborghini nameplate brings.
It would be like if Ferrari built an SUV on the Grand Cherokee platform, dropped a Hellcat engine under the hood, changed the bodywork, and stuck a Ferrari badge on the fender. It ain't the real thing.
Okay, in 5 years, when the Urus has depreciated, lets have every member of Exotic Spotter co-sign one of these, and take turns. 5 of us at a time, off-roading in Eastern Europe for no reason what so ever. I'm in, who else?
