Maserati GranTurismo

The Maserati GranTurismo is the ultimate GT car. It is a perfect combination of power, speed, luxury, looks, sound, practicality, and build quality all in one.

With 4.2L V8 in the base model GranTurismo produces a total of 400hp from the rear wheels alone going from 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds. On the other hand, the GranTurismo Sport produces 454hp from it's larger, beafier 4.7L V8 bringing it from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and then climbs all the way up to a top speed of a Joe Walsh inspired 185 mph.

In 2011, Maserati released a special edition model of the GranTurismo known as the MC Stradale which is more of a performance model than the normal car. It was much lighter due to the extensive use of carbon fibre and the removal of back seats, replacing the front seats with seat shells, and removing other objects that weren't fully necessary for a race car. Unfortunately, this model was not offered in North America because the market for the MC Stradale was just not strong enough. Instead, Maserati provided a model known as the GranTurismo MC for the North American market. This model features more of an aggressive stance than the GranTurismo Sport and is also much sportier. The interior on the MC is very much the same as the interior found in the GranTurismo Sport which makes it much more practical than the MC Stradale. In 2012, Maserati revealed the Maserati GranCabrio MC (known as the GranTurismo C MC in North America) which was a much sportier version of the GranCabrio.
