Come on guys. What is this monstrosity made from (apart from fiberglass and bondo)? I don't think it's an X1/9, just too big to be one. A pillar and door is quite different and side window isn't split either. Looks 80s going by the donor construction, door handles and window?
There were only two real vintage production mid-engine Maserati's, the Bora and the Merak, and both has similar curvaceous bodies. This car seems to share more with a Fiat X1/9 than anything else. It definitely no Maserati, probably some modified fiber glass kit car with a mishmash of parts from various cars. He might have a Maserati engine in it which he probably feels gives him the right to use the badges.
