Description Story: I rented this McLaren in Las Vegas last weekend and it broke down in the middle of the desert on this road in Red Rock Canyon (coolant line blew off). Just so happened to be beautiful scenery, so I took this shot while we waited an hour for the tow truck. Good news is we got a refund?
Haha thank you! Yeah...as soon as we saw smoke coming from the engine bay we pulled over immediately and shut it down because I know their reputation for burning down haha
First post on ES that made me laugh! Because I know very well how bad McLarens are with their quality. My friend used to sell McLarens and I have personally seen parts falling off, doors locking themselves so that they had to send it to servicing hours before customer delivery, batteries dying days after delivery, windows smash from closing the door a little to hard, cars catching fire, wheels falling of on track, the list is long. And this is not a Sports Series problem. Oh no. I've seen it on P1s, P1 GTRs, Sennas, 675LTs, 570S, 650S ... you name it. At one point, all of the P1s in Sweden broke down at the same time and McLaren tried to say it was no brake-down but a rutin service. But it wasn't. Personally I would never buy a McLaren if I had the money. I don't care how fast they are. They are sh*t!
