The fact that it shares the 12C's body shape and chassis suggests that even though McLaren has the money to build something new like the 570S (which I like a little bit better) they don't want to invest the money into it. I also think it's an ugly 12C that wants to be a P1. Wherever @Mustang1 is, there's my McLaren rant for you.
