I think I'm going with the T3i... I don't know it's just when i saw the camera we had a connection lol I'm gonna be looking up techniques and try to see how other photographers do their thing and then hopefully I'll develop my own style:D Thank you for the advice guys You'll be seeing better pictures from us soon!

I thought the same things before i had my camera but i soon found out, if you put the D3100 and the T3i in a single photographers hands at once and have them take the same photo of the same car from the same angle on both cameras and let them do the same editing on both photos, you wont be able to tell the difference at all. It's all in the photographer to produce a photo as amazing as a lot of the ones you see on here, flickr, and facebook. Whichever camera you get, you'll develop your own style. There will be a difference though between getting a D3100 and a Cannon Eos 5D Mark III. The 5D will produce better quality images because of the technology it has but there's also a $3,400 difference too. But the Sony A57, T3I, D3100/D3200, and the Pentax K5 will all look fairly similar.

No problem! When I got my D3100 I was totally clueless, I shot with it exactly as I would my iPhone. But after learning and practicing I got to start shooting stuff like this.

It's really on you. You can produce great photographs with either as long as you practice and learn new techniques. Whichever you can get a better deal on you should choose, then learn the ins and outs of it and you'll do fine.

I'd either take that or the McLaren. Hard choice. Nice work.

And I'm sorry that that doesn't give you an answer but really either one will wow you and give you results you want.

Haha it really doesn't matter. I've seen incredible photographers that use the T3i and ones that use the D3100. Neither of them will disappoint (for a while, at least). Tons of people here use the T3i and it seems great but I certainly recommend the D3100 as a first camera. There isn't a wrong choice.
