Description So earlier today I had a short break between classes, so I decided to drive around and see what was around my school, which isn't in a really wealthy area. So anyway what do you know, out of nowhere my first 12C Spider appears! I followed him for a little bit to see if I could get better pictures, but he drove off before I could get better shots
@SPNCars: I agree, the Bay Area does have some pretty awesome dealers. But the spotting is... meh. I guess Silicon Valley (Palo Alto, Atherton, etc) is pretty good, but San Francisco is actually, dare I say, one of the worst places for spotting. Come to think of it, I don't think I've actually seen a single exotic in the past week or two, save a GranCabrio today and a few 1st gen Gallardos at BMC.
I've found that I've only gotten to sit in exotics when my dad was with me. Also I've never actually asked to, they've just kinda opened the door and let me in.
The thing about that time is that my dad was with me, and I guess since he is a potential buyer (even though we're poor lol), the guy working there was talking to him about the car, etc, and he let me and my friend sit in a 12C. When I saw the P1 (which isn't there anymore), the same guy was letting another group of people check out the car and sit in it, and he said to me "I'll get to you guys in a minute". Not sure what that meant, but after waiting for a half an hour while they were still checking it out, we just had to go. So, basically, if your dad is with you or something (I know, it makes you sound like a little kid) and nobody else is sitting in it, then you MIGHT.
You guys are lucky you both live around SF and you have some sweet dealerships. the coolest dealer I have is a Maserati Dealer that usually only has 1 ferrari in stock.
I think the most common color I see is orange for the coupes and red for the Spiders. I wanna see one in yellow. I've seen a yellow P1, but no yellow 12Cs lol. And McLaren San Francisco is fun, but try to make sure they're open. Me and my friend sometimes bike to Ferrari Silicon Valley and then McLaren SF because his house is in between them, and I think 4 times in a row McLaren was closed! They're always closed on Sundays, and we would go on Saturday. I think they're open most of the time now though.
